free soulOver the last few months I’ve had the privilege of listening (over and over) to the audio version of The Untethered Soul – The Journey Beyond Yourself (by Michael A. Singer).

Maybe it’s just me, maybe it came to me in just the right time (meaning that I was just ready for it, after all the self development / self help material that I’ve been consuming over the years), but I have to say that this is one of, if not the most life changing book I’ve ever read or listened to.

The Untethered Soul in a nutshell

To sum it up, this book is all about guiding you towards happiness, peace of mind, enlightenment… helping you become a “free soul”.

(BTW, untethered means unbound, free).

The “Publisher’s Summery” on is short and clear… read more…

Low Energy During Winter? (it could be allergy)

tired guyOver the last few years I’ve become more and more aware of how my energy level is affected by anything – by what I eat and drink, by my mood and my thoughts and of course – by the seasons of the year…

In case you don’t know (why would you?), it’s winter time here in Israel and over the last couple of weeks I’ve been struggling with breathing through my nose, especially at bedtime…

I used to think that my stuffy nose, snoring and sleep apnea were being caused mainly by my smoking. Well, it’s been almost two years since I stopped smoking, and the nasal congestion is only slightly better, if at all.

Do you know this feeling, when you can barely inhale through you nose? It’s not nice… and it lowers my energy level, my ability to concentrate and what not. read more…

How Stress Works and How to Relieve It Naturally

(by Susan Smith Johns, PhD)

If you often feel like the demands of your everyday lifestyle exceed your ability to handle them, you’re absolutely not alone, as I pointed out in many places in the pages of my new book The Joy Factor: 10 Sacred Practices for Radiant Health.

Stressed outThe state of feeling “stressed out” and “over-committed” is a developing difficulty among hundreds of thousands of Americans…

Time magazine may have identified stress as the “Epidemic of the Eighties,” but that was far prior to the Net and social media considerably sped up the activity of most people’s lives, and the extended wars and global economic troubles at the turn of the 21st century piled on further woes.

How Hypnosis Helps to Develop a Positive Attitude

(by Barrie St John of

We all know that positive thinking and being optimistic about life is better for us than being a bad tempered misery guts; it’s better for our health, and optimists generally have a happier time of it… but saying and doing are very different things, aren’t they?!

And you’ve probably already come across the idea of positive affirmations…

They may well have their place in an attempt to think positively. But can just telling yourself in the mirror each morning, “I am a confident, positive person” really change anything all by itself? In reality, no.
